By creating a library card you agree to these terms.
Who can use Stacks
You must be 13 or older. One account per person. Keep your sign-in email secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
Your content
You own what you write on Stacks: shelf names, descriptions, notes and your profile. You give us permission to store and display it as your privacy settings allow, so the service can work.
Rules
- No harassment, hate, sexual content involving minors, spam, or impersonation.
- Don’t post other people’s copyrighted text beyond short quotes.
- Don’t scrape the service or try to access other readers’ private data.
We may remove content or close accounts that break these rules. You can report a profile or shelf from its page.
Book information
Book details and covers come from Open Library and Google Books and may contain mistakes. Buying links, if shown, may earn Stacks a commission.
Changes and ending
We may update these terms and will say so in the app. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
No warranty
Stacks is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data or indirect damages.
